In March 2021, Duke Energy began building the Central Corridor gas pipeline through the Cincinnati suburbs despite residents’ concerns that Duke had not adequately assessed the pipeline’s environmental and economic impacts, including the fact that it would run close to Summit Park, a popular Hamilton County attraction for both residents and tourists.
